Error: gui window tries to begin rendering while something else has not finished rendering!

This error appears every time I switch bewteen platforms. I found a solution here

yet I don't want to apply it cause it still neither seem to hurt any part of my project nor building and I have 5 very well customized Layouts I that don't want to do over again. It's not the first time this is happening so for now I'm thinking of letting it be like this until I find out if this really does any harm to the project. Question: Can this do any harm to my project?

You don't really need to worry, Unity GUI errors usually don't cause any big issues. As long as they don't stop anything specific from executing.
