            Too subjective and argumentative.
Original iPhone, or iPhone 6? There's a big difference. Either way, it is very unlikely to be vert count that kills your framerate.

              Vertices limit for iOS?
I realize this question is very broad as a host of other factors affect the performance of the game but I like tangible goals/requirements/borders to work with. Is there a ballpark number of maximum amount of vertices for a game on the iPhone before frame rate starts to suffer? What's a good number I should shoot for?

              In general for mobile platform u can use up to 100k triangles in per frame camera frustrum.
