Prefab randomly broken
I tried to playtest my project, but it wouldn't work because the prefab references were missing. This had never happened before. I looked in the prefab folder, but the player prefab was a white folder. I tried upgrade the unity version to the newest one, but nothing happened. What is going on? (I was using unity 2019.2.10f1, but later upgraded to Unity 2019.3.0f1 to see if the prefab was fixed, but it wasn't)

Did you move folders outside of unity? Maybe it can't find the player prefab because something was moved
I didn't move any folders. Luckily, I found a day-old backup on my hard-drive on the project, so no worries!

Re-import the prefab. I had the same issue. If you open the prefab and everything looks ok, just re-import the broken prefab. If the opened prefab still is broken, re-import all your assets, as there might be that some assemblies did not compile correctly and that prevents the prefab from loading correctly.
