How to stop particles from spawning too high
I have a particle emitter with it's parent moving through a scene. When the parent reaches the goal (Left side) I move it's transform back to it's original position.
Overtime, the particle emitter spawns it's particles higher and higher to no end. I can't understand why it's doing this.
I am using the particles for collision detection with the player and it is important that they do not rise on the Y axis. I have tried constraining the axis to no avail. They are spawning too high.
Emitter is moving right to left
Emitter teleports back to start pos (right) once reaching left side.

Any help would be gladly appreciated! Thanks
