Textures from Blender to Unity
Hello.
So I modelled a pretty decent python in blender and I know when you add textures to modells it makes them look a thousand times better. So in blender I added the textures and of course they looked much better. Finally my model was done and I exported as .fbx and then put it in unity. Then when it was in unity I put the gun in and no textures. Then I imported the textures and put them on the right objects of the gun and there is still no difference, the model still looks like playdough.
I thought I should play around with the textures a bit and nothing worked. I think i tried everything in the import settings and nothing changed with the texture.
So then I put the texture on a cube and the texture looks fine. It looks just like the way it is supposed to.
Please Help me with these texture!!!!
Thanks in advance.
no but I dont exactly understand how to UV wrap. I don't really know what it does but I know like how to do it in blender i've seen some videos. and I like selecting the whole gun or something like I don't understand what to UV Wrap.
Actually that did the trick!! I went on to each object in blender, gave it a UV map, then when I put it into unity the textures actually worked pretty well.
Thanks a lot
