Is there a better way to reuse animators on similar characters
I have a bunch of characters in my 2d game that animate in the exact same way, they just use different specific sprites. It takes a fairly long amount of time to build a new animation controller for each one, so I have been duplicating one Animator and changing the animations associated with each node (or whatever you want to call the boxes in the animator window).
Doing it this way, if I ever want to change or add something to the animator I will have to go through and change every single character. Is there some way to use the same animator or animations for multiple characters but swap in a different sprite sheet or set of animations?
