Changing UGUI InputField keyboard appearance on iOS

Hi dudes and dudettes,

Is there a way to change the appearance of the UGUI (Unity 4.6 GUI) InputField keyboard appearance on iOS. What I'm getting is the following.

alt text

But I need it to be without the extra search field, 'Done' and 'Cancel' buttons. Basically I need the behaviour of native iOS UITextField default keyboard appearance. Is there an easy way to do this?

Thanks.

If you are using UI.InputField there is a parameter 'Hide Mobile Input' that you can check off (set true) and it will get rid of that. If you are manually opening the keyboard, there is a argument in open that you can set true that will also get rid of that.

This works! Thanks for the help. I assumed (by the name of the variable) that it would just completely disable the keyboard.

Unfortunately not as of now. I have posted the same query in the forums and the Unity guys replied to that. They are working on that. You may want to have a look at that:
