Why are my trees turning pale?
I'm using the tree creator, and I have 4 trees with textures and materials. Over time, as I worked on my scene (I was working on shadows, terrain textures and sun flares)... I began to notice my trees were starting to turn pale.
The paleness seems to be in the materials and textures that are attached to the trees. If I navigate the editor to the texture file, I see it looks pale too. This paleness began gradually and increased over time. How do I fix it?
I'm using no scripts except: Unity 4, Relief Terrain Pack v3, and Terrain Composer.
I deleted all my terrain composer examples folders, and dragged fresh ones back in. The trees were not faded any more. I noticed the "faded" color matched the orange color of my directional light in my scene, so I changed my directional light to purple. I navigated to my tree prefab, and clicked it to open the unity tree editor. I clicked around, select the material, selected the tree, kept clicking but not really changing anything, BA$$anonymous$$ all my trees turned purple.... my materials and textures look pale in the corners. What's doing this? EDIT: it only messed up just the tree prefab I was messing with. I went to a different tree prefab, and the only button I had to click was the little "refresh" button in the tree creator, and BA$$anonymous$$, tree turns the color of my directional light. Why is the unity tree creator damaging my material / textures?
Please can you post a pic of this, I can't offer any sensible explanation without seeing one, thanks.
