texturenetworkingwwwwww.texture
Host Image/Texture using Unity server, then request it using WWW on client
I'd like to be able to send textures over a network, but when I serialise a texture into a byte array, send it over a socket, and deseralise on the other end, it's very slow (like 1fps slow).
So I thought I'd try and see if I could host the texture on my computer, and then subscribe to it using the WWW class.
I'm not too sure how I'd go about this, though, or whether I should try something else completely.
Any thoughts?
