Unity VideoPlayer on Android Lags
As the title implies, I am using Unity's VideoPlayer to play some short ( 1 second) video's. On windows this works very smooth. On Android however it takes about 3 full seconds to start the video and when it starts it lags all the way through it.
I obviously have checked the forums and found different "solutions" but none of them seem to work. I have tried disabling multithreaded rendering, made the video file size smaller (at 6mb currently) and I tried messing with the bitrate. Nothing seems to make a difference.
The render mode of the VideoPlayer is set to: Render Texture. Then I have an URP/Lit material using emission using the render texture as Emission map.
So my question is, is there still things I can try or am I forced to buy or create my own videoplayer?
