Errors attempting to connect to a database
I wrote a C# script that's supposed to connect the database. I know the script works because I ran it before on a project in Visual Studio. But for some reason I keep getting these 2 errors in Unity's console:
Assets/DatabaseConnectionTest.cs(4,7): error CS0246: The type or namespace name
**MySql**' could not be found. Are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference? 2. Assets/DatabaseConnectionTest.cs(3,14): error CS0234: The type or namespace name
Data' does not exist in the namespace `System'. Are you missing an assembly reference?
I know that this error shouldn't even exist because I added the reference to MySQL and to Data in MonoDevelop as you can in the screenshot.
All I want to do is display the database values in the console.
Thanks in advance :)
Please give your questions a more descriptive title and use tags. Taking a stab at it on your behalf...
I tried giving it better tags like "Scripting" but they got rejected. $$anonymous$$y problem is with the error in the Console
Your tags should be specific to the problem. 9 of out 10 people here are seeking help with "scripting" - that's much too generic.
I'd try to help, but I'm not familiar with this issue. Best,
is there a way to edit this question? Because now that I think about it, the title is misleading
