StreamingAssets Folder Max Size
Hi all,
I've tested this myself but just want to confirm for safety. What is the max size the streaming Assets folder can be before it will not longer build for android? Got a lot of large potential video files to place into it for current project i'm working on.
cheers all!
Same question here. I have a video file (approx 1,4 GB). It getting not played when deployed to android. The android $$anonymous$$edia player throws a $$anonymous$$EDIA_ERROR_UN$$anonymous$$NOWN
If i cut the video down to 50 $$anonymous$$B it gets played (same resolution/bitrate etc as before). It seems like it´s getting not properly deployed. I successfully deployed videos up to 1GB on my Android S7 and i´m trying to nail down the limit, but it might very well be that it´s device dependent in the end.
So is there any general file size limit? Or a List of Limits for Devices?
Did you ever find an answer to this? i am having this issue. I have 5 mp4's combined file size is about 1.8Gb and works fine. Swapped them out for slightly longer versions (exact same format etc), combined file size is now 2.2GB and it fails to build
