Windows app Splash Screen
I'm using unity free so it's perfectly fine that before my game load i have unity splash screen.
If I compile the game for windows phone 8.1 (with windows app deploy option), before the unity splah screen i have a long black screen that is the splash screen inserted by default from visual studio.
How can i disable it and keep only unity splash screen?
I don't think visual studio "inserts" a splash screen. What makes you think it's inserted by visual studio? Do you NOT get that black screen on windows 8.1 if you use the mono-compiler?
I think that vs puts its own splash screen because in Package.appmanifest there is a section to edit it. If I set a different image (differenet from the default black one) when opening game from my phone it will display the image that i set in vs and then the unity splash screen. I've also tried leaving the vs splash screen image empty but it isn't disabled.
I've tried to use mono-compiler but nothing changed.
