How to make objects reflective in the free version of unity?
I just want to know if there is a way to make objects, such as a floor look slightly reflective/shiny in the free version of unity. This is for a virtual gallery.
Also I have come across scripts online but I am not sure how to apply these correctly.
Thanks Michaela

True reflection, not without preparing your own refection map off line.
Reflective, like the shine off of metal, yes.
That's called specular reflection and is part of the renderer calculation.
Thank you for your reply but how do I achieve that look?

You do it by choosing the right shader and setting the proper parameters for your look.
Look under "reflective" in the shaders list. You will see a number of them. I would suggest Bumped/Specular as a good choice.
If you don't knwo how to set a shader, you really need to read through one of the starting Unity tutorials.
