Character animation with Animator isn't working.
Hi,
I'm actually trying to set the base of my game. I imported from maya the scene, the character (Mesh and bones), and the animations file which are the same file as the character file but with animation keys on the bones. I looked at the preview window and my animations are working very well. I looked at the video tutorial on Unity's webpage and tried to animate my character.
I put them in the Animator component and I set the animations parameters, but it doesn't work, my character doesn't move at all. I tried setting my character and my animations into Humanoid mode and generic modes, but it doesn't change anything.
Does someone has an idea how to fix this?

When you say it "doesn't move", do you mean that the animations won't play, or that they are playing but the object itself remains static? If it's the second one, then the problem is likely that the keyframes in the animation are actually overriding the transform of the object, making it stay in one place. You can check by disabling the animator component and testing it again. If this is the problem, then go back into Maya and remove all location tracks on your animations (if you don't know how to remove those tracks, I can't help you; I'm a Blender user myself).
