How do I decrease baking time?
TLDR : How do I decrease the baking time so that I may develop my terrain faster? Quick fixes are preferable because this is my first time ever developing a game and using unity.
I am trying to paint hills in my terrain, but every time I edit the terrain with the brush, unity takes at least a minute to render it, according to the baking ETA (bottom right of screenshot). ...

I found the answer to my own question. Here it is if anyone has the same question:
Turn off Baked Global Illumination.

Window > Rendering > Lighting Settings > Uncheck Baked Global Illumination, which is located under Mixed Lighting in the Scene tab.
