New GUI - nomenclature of blueprint (b) vs Raw (R)
in the new gui system, why is blueprint mode (b - lowercased) and Raw mode (R - capitalized). And why are they called blueprint and raw.
Your probably better off asking this on the beta forum. The designers of the new GUI system frequently hang out there. Never seen one of them here.
Are you using the unstable weekly version or the stable version? I can't seem to find 'blueprint' anywhere, maybe you can point me to it? This is mainly guess work but Raw is normally either Raw or RAW as it relates to a file type, though it is not actually a file type itself it is a term used to cover the set of file types that are manufacturer specific to ~the highest quality, unaltered image that a camera captures~. For example I know that .NEF images are the raw file type created/used by Nikon, you can see a much longer list of included file types here.
Not much idea what blueprint relates to though! sorry :)
that's the thing raw has nothing to do with raw image files. they're next to the align transforms in the stable 4.6
