FBX Scale Wobble/Shake problem
i have an annoying wobble issue In my flight sim when the camera is in the cockpit view and the aircraft is moving. the model appears to wobble/shake. when the camera is external to the model it does not shake. I tracked the issue down to a scale issue as the cockpit has very detailed textures and small meshes. if i increase the aircraft scale from 1 to 10 the wobble stops. The model is imported from a FBX file.
The issue is that the wobble problem was discovered after 12 months of development and numerous scripts use unit calculations and increasing the scale will require significant project changes. e.g. before 1 unit = 1 meter and now 1 unit = 100 millimetres. audio sources min distance settings are invalid after scale change.
Has anyone else experience scale issues ? Any other ideas to stop the wobble ?
