slow geforce card detected
Just after the splash screen, an onscreen prompt told me several features were being disabled because a "slow g-force card (had been) detected." I'm using an Nvidia GeForce GTX 295. I could be wrong but next to the ion, isn't this their fastest card? COuld this be due to me using unity free instead of unity pro or is there something I should know about this card. I want to be sure people with lower end cards will still be able to play my game.

Make sure you have the most updated drivers for the card. It does not have anything to do with your version of Unity. If this does not help, try reporting a bug to unity.
I made sure my card is fuly updated and still I get:
note: reducing draw distance (slow geforce card detected) note: turning off soft vegetation (slow geforce card detected)
I don't really see a game play impact, perhaps it is not actually reducing and turning off those elements, only clai$$anonymous$$g to? At any rate, I sent in a bug report. I wonder if anyone else is having a similar issue?
I've never seen this message before. Can you upload a screenshot? Also, is this a Unity editor message or a game made with Unity message?

To clarify the ION chipset is an extremely basic embedded GPU. It's slighty less powerfull than an old geforce 9800. It's 'on board' video. You can run a DXDIAG and see if Windows is correctly identifying your video card manufactuer. It's possible you have an on-board video card that Unity is picking up in it's hardware discovery. See if you can disable on-board video from the bios.
