projet convert video 2D to virtual reality 3D in Unity with Oculus Rift
Hello,
I post this topic to see if it was possible to make an application to convert a 2D video into a virtual reality video. Know that the video will not be exactly like a real 3D movie. The rendering of the video will not be like the ones that are made with material appropriate for kind of project.
But since Unity uses VR, shaders (with depth effects and side by side effects) UI use for "glasses vr", the transfer of the video, and with the scripts I thought it would be so it may be possible to make an application.
If on asset store there are already projects to convert 2D video into 3D thank you for making me to reach a link ... If not, is it possible to do this project or it's just impossible, because the video was not released to realize in virtual reality?
