Editor doesn’t connect to iOS device on Windows?
ios8.0 + win7 + Unity 4.5 , http://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/UnityRemote4.html, i do what they say,but it does not work. i am sure the itunes is running. why is that?
Last I checked Unity remote for iPhone only worked on $$anonymous$$acs. To develop on iOS you really need a $$anonymous$$ac.
That language is very intuitive to understand. Why not to set UI to English for a while or translate message on the screen for convenience sake?
The docs specifically mention Windows, and have a section titled "Editor doesn’t connect to iOS device on Windows. What can I do?" So it seems intended to work there.
like i already mentioned - it works on windows, but you need to be running itunes for unity to detect the device. (apple/windows issue, not unity)
from the pic, it looks like you're running itunes (although it's not clear whether it's connected to your device) and have the editor set to run on any iOS device (which it looks like you do), so launching unity remote on your device and then clicking play in the editor should work... and make sure that the device is connected via usb to the pc ;)
my tested dev setup is win7/unity 4.6b20/unity remote 4 and iphone 5 & iPad4 - both working as expected.
however, and as boredmormon states, you'll almost definitely need OSX to publish anything (there are some hacks, but i'm not sure how reliable they are - i have $$anonymous$$BPro with OSX, apple dev account, etc.)
