Help! I downloaded Unity, but everytime i open it, it shuts down! How do i fix this??

I downloaded unity and made a license just an hour ago. Yet now, ever time i try and open the program, it shows me a loading screen then goes away. Nothing happens after that. How do i fix this, I'd like to open Unity!!!

Try holding Alt after you click the icon

Try reading your **editor log** file for clues. If it doesn't help, it may help people here to give some clues. Update your question with the log file, or link it to pastebin etc.

Have you imported any libraries / modified any scripts? If you have, say, an infinite loop in one of your editor scripts, it will crash Unity whenever it runs.
