FBX's blendshape targets have same name so Unity won't animate them?
Hello,
When I import an FBX with blend shape animation from 3DS Max, the targets all have the same name in the inspector. As a result, only the first target is animate-able.
I am exporting an object animated with Morpher from 3DS Max as an FBX. My export settings are:
My targets and channels all have different names in 3DS Max as you can see here:
Does anyone know why the targets all come in named "D"?
Is there a way to change the names of the targets inside Unity so that I can get them all into the animation editor?
Someone else had this same problem in this question: http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/608596/animation-and-blendshapes.html
Thank you Jon
There have been some known issues with blendshapes/morpher and FBX SD$$anonymous$$ in certain versions, can you try selecting FBX 2011 first and also 2014 (FBX File Format > Version). If this still causes issues, please report a bug in Unity > Help > Report a bug and post the ref number here
