How to effectively change terrain object size/resolution?
Hello,
Beginner here just getting started with creating a few maps/terrain objects. I have imported a terrain object into my scene and had some fun with different textures and adding swaying grass details and so on. However when I decrease the size of the terrain plane using the resolution settings (from 2000x2000 to 500x500) and add some grass details the game will run so slow and laggy (15fps) and will sometimes even crash unity. Does anyone know why this would be happening and where I am going wrong? Perhaps their is another way of changing the terrain area size that I am missing?
