4.6 Textfield clear for another entry
Hi all. :)
Having problems with the 4.6 textfield entries. I was able to use a script to detect the scale of the objects in my scene and it appears in the textbox. Now I want to detect when the textfield is clicked so I can input the value. I am using Javascript.
Could you please elaborate a little more, from what I understand you're using the 4.6 UI and the InputField component. You're trying to make it so when you click on the InputField it allows you to type? It's like this by default.
I have a room in the game. When I click on the room the scale size appears in the inputfield. This is where I am stuck.
From this point on I want to click on the textfield and it must clear the value for input. Then after inputting a new scale value I press the enter key and the room's scale changes.
I was able to do this using the old GUI by creating a new input field everytime I click on the textbox window and destroying the old one.
Is there a better, less tedious way, to achieve this with the new UI system?
