Unity iOS EncodeToPNG not working

Hi, I seem to be having an issue when using the EncodeToPNG function of a Texture2D on iOS. This issue is only isolated to iOS though as I have builds running on OSX, Windows, and Android and they all generate and store the PNG images correctly.

When the image is trying to be encoded XCode logs out the following message:

 libpng warning: Application built with libpng-1.2.18 but running with 1.5.12
 Failed to encode to PNG
 UnityEngine.Texture2D:EncodeToPNG()

Also I have tried changing the export to Jpeg instead but that seems to have more disastrous where the application closes itself with Xcode only logging out 1 line.

 Wrong JPEG library version: library is 62, caller expects 61

The device I'm testing on is running iOS 7.1.1 and the version of unity I'm currently using is 4.5.3f

So I'm wondering if it's an iOS issue, or unity3D issue, and what solutions there are available or do I have to write a native code plugin just so iOS can do what the other 3 platforms are fine doing?
