Lack of Bi-Direction OffMeshLinks for Jumping Up?
I've been searching for an answer for a couple hours now to what seems like an obvious problem.
When baking a navmesh, you can have it auto-generate offmeshlinks to handle moving between areas of the mesh. It is able to create them perfectly for dropping down and jumping across gaps, but for whatever reason has no option for making the drop-down links go two ways, to allow agents to move back up to higher platforms.
The gap-crossing links are bi-directional, so clearly this functionality exists internally. But wherever I look, I only see people saying you have to place the links by hand if you want to be able to jump up, which is hugely inconvenient. There also seems to be no way to loop through existing OffMeshLinkData after it's baked.
Is it possible to extend the editor code to allow for this? I'm an experience programmer but don't know anything about changing Unity's internal functionality.
Any help is hugely appreciated!
