Can't make black/grey smoke? - Particle Systems
For some reason I can't make black/grey smoke, even if I import a really dark image, if I try to make color (under the particle) or color over lifetime to a dark colour, it will just make it invisiable if I choose a black/grey, why is this? I've got it working perfectly fine with a red-tinge but yeah I'm not sure why I can't make it black/grey
What material have you used? If it's an Additive material, then you dark colors don't have any effects. You need a material supporting Multiply.
That would be it. I used Legacy Shaders/Particles/Additive on the material (then added the PNG I downloaded), so I would need to make it a different material? But what type of Shader would be good for Smoke?
I just told you you needed a Multiply material... And believe it or not, there is a Legacy Shaders/Particles/Multiply
