[META] How to post with angle brackets (chevrons)?
I'm having some difficulties with posting a question/answer using angle brackets (chevrons) in the text. See this:
<these are chevrons>
When I try to use them between backticks, it even gets worse: ``. (You probably don't see anything)
The most acceptable way I've found to write them here, is by doing this:
`<these are chevrons>
Is there a better/easier way of doing this on Unity Answers?

Put spaces between the brackets and the text, which prevents it from being parsed incorrectly. Like , or < this too >.

Posts on UA supports HTLM so using HTML character codes generally works just fine. However the counter question is why and when do you need them outside of code blocks?

Thanks, at least I can use the tags outside a code block now. But they don't work for me inside a code block. I've edited my question to be more clear about this.
