Rotatearound turning with player as pivot error
**edited question for clarity (originally asked question made no sense... even to myself, no sleep will do that to anyone)
I feel I should thank everyone on this site who has been generous enough to help me out with this game so far, and I hate to ask but, alas I am by no stretch of the imagination a programmer. I have my game set up so that you can rotate a 3d maze around the player by clicking the walls that make up the maze. The maze itself is inside of a cube which is the room the player is in. When the player clicks a wall it either hinges up or down in front of the player(so the player has to be looking directly at the wall they want to "push or pull"). The problem is that with my current Rotate around script I have a strange error where the players position is ignored when turning the walls on the sides of the room causing the player to be ejected entirely from the room.
I wanted to know why this is happening? I thought it was gymbal lock but I'm probably wrong. Would making a separate rotation code to handle these walls work?
Any advice at all would help greatly
