Is it possible to open on-screen keyboard on Windows 8 devices with touch screen? (like MS Surface).

As far as I can tell, no. Nor is it possible to detect touches except as mouse-button emulation.

Until these 2 things get fixed, Windows 8 on touchscreen devices should be considered "not supported by Unity."
