How can I use my own images as a GUIText or Text Mesh font?
I have rendered the digits 0-9 in Art Text, nice colorful bubbly numbers with transparent backgrounds and drop shadows- and I want to be able to use that as my font for my onscreen score counter. I think one can use custom images for a font with the material property in GUIText, I just don't know how; the docs give no explanation.
I don't want to have the whole font worth of textures either, just those 10 characters.
Can I do this or not?
If not, I'll probably make each number an object and script a sort of digital flip-number clock where the script parses the string for ones, tens, hundreds place etc. and shows the appropriate number object and hides the rest, and stick it to the front of the camera, but it would be nicer if there was a built in way.
