Why are my textures on planes flipped / reversed left-to-right?
add a plane to and empty scene
create a new material with a texture from a psd file.
add the material to the plane.
The texture in the scene view is flipped left-to-right compared to the texture file and the texture as it displays in the shader section of the inspector

That is annoying. You can set the image tiling to -1 on X to correct it.
Thanks for the answer! Setting the tiling to -1 does seem to solve solve the problem if the texture wrap mode is set to repeat.
Thanks for re$$anonymous$$ding me - also try Clamp. I seem to recall that solving a problem or two...
So wait.. are the texture coordinates on the default plane actually mirrored from what they should be?
In clamp mode, you need to adjust the texture offset, too. Don't remember which way, though, try +1 or -1
Got it. In the $$anonymous$$aterial properties, Set X-Tiling to -1, X-Offset to 1. Now the texture repeat mode can be set to clap OR repeat. Thanks!
