uiguiinputtouchscreenkeyboard
Why when set TouchScreenKeyboard.hideInput = true is not supported by any language besides English?
My code:
string Data = "";
void Start()
{
TouchScreenKeyboard.hideInput = true;
}
void OnGUI () {
Data = GUI.TextField(new Rect(0, 0, Screen.width, Screen.height / 15), Data);
GetComponent<TextMesh>().text = Data;
}
"Data" Variable don't contain over English symbols!
Comment
Support for TouchScreen$$anonymous$$eyboard support with hideInput set to true is laughable at most.
On Android, several features will be off. Swipe or text correction will stop working.
On Galaxy S6 devices, keyboard won't work at all.
'Cause I'm new here on Unity support features, I'm still trying to figure out how to report such things.
They're clearly a Unity bug.
