3D objects don't show up in standalone on Windows XP
Hello, I'm a beginner on Unity so I may have missed something. I use Windows XP SP3 and my computer is just an old aspire one notebook. Here is my problem : if I build a game with 3D objects, they won't show up in the standalone. When the game starts, you can see the scene in a flash but it disappears immediately. The game is playable though : I know it because UI texts show up alright and the background is visible. The game works fine (and the 3D objects are showing up) on a computer with Windows Seven (and, I suppose, on other computers) so I know my computer is at fault. There is no problem with 2D objects. I tested DirectX 9 and it's ok. Any clue ? Thanks in advance.
The last drivers don't change anything. I guess my old config doesn't support the 3D games made with Unity. I'm already glad it can run Unity anyway... Thanks for your answer Hellium. You're right it's time to change my computer. I was kind of hoping that it might have been a known issue (that's what everybody hopes I guess...).
