2D Animations Scaling Away From The Floor
So I'm making a 2.5D platformer that mostly involves 2D sprites moving through X and Y but in a 3D environment. My problem is that the various sprites used in my player character's idle animation are of slightly different vertical lengths, so since Unity scales the next frame in the animation relative to the center of the sprite the player character's feet just sorta hover slightly above the ground every few frames. Is there a way to ground the sprite's scaling changes relative to its bottom side? I've tried looking up answers, but I can only assume most of them only apply to 3D models since my Animator window doesn't show "bake into pose" options or anything of the sort. I've already tried toggling Foot IK too, but it doesn't seem to work.
