Move Transform to Match 2d Animation
Has anyone had any experience with moving a transform's position to match that of an animation's movement? In my case I'm making something like a fighting move similar to shoryuken from Street Fighter where you are moved upwards coinciding with the attack and I'd like to know how other people have tackled this issue.
I've been trying to do it by setting a velocity variable that moves the player by a set amount each second but this is proving to be more difficult to manage than I'd like. Is there some way to instead attach the movement information to the animation itself? So that as the animation reaches certain points the position of the player is updated accordingly?
