Model From Cinema4D too many polys
Hey guys, made a simple box like arm in C4D with root and some joints for movement, when i import the fbx to Unity, it works like a charm BUT my model has like tons of extra polygons that i coudnt see inside Cinema.. (i think this obvously makes a impact on fps if all my models are like this?)
Is this a modeling problem or export/inport behaviour?
Thanks!

I don't see any "extra polygons". A polygon is a triangle, and in Cinema4D your view, or the model, is configured to show only quads, but not all the other edges that make up the polygons. It's really just that these are hidden, not that they aren't there. Depending on how your rig and deforming works, I bet a lot of polygons could be eliminated.
Sorry, am new at modeling, thanks for the asnwser ill keep looking for a solution, cuz am bending this arm and i did those cuts so i can bend properly, but i didnt saw how many damm tris and thingies it put in.. BTW r u thecherno?
