How to make animation put character back in original position?
Let's say I have a bunch of sprites making up a character. Only the sprites that I actually move get recorded in the animation. And if I ever move the character around later, when the animation is activated, the original position of the character when I recorded the animation is "forgotten."
For example, say I manipulate only the arms in the animation. Then if I move the legs around on the character later, the animation won't put put the legs back into the original position I had them in when I animated the arms.
I want the character to go back to the original position I had him in even if I didn't move certain parts of his body in the animation. How do I do this?
You can copy the original position to the end of the animation, that will cause it to return there.
@tbkn What do you mean by "copy" the original position? If I only have the arms animted, the arms is all that appears in the animation window's dope sheet (the window with the key frames). So where would I be copying from? The hierarchy?
