Mecanim delay
I have a trigger (called punch) in mecanim so that when the player clicks it is activated. I have a default animation which is just an empty state and when punch is activated it transitions to a punching animation. However I have noticed that when I click there's a one second delay before the player punches. I'm not sure if this is due to the transition and if it is I would like to know how to make the transition instant.
If the transition is specified based on time, you need to reduce or remove that time. It's easier to control that with a bool variable and set your transition to be a condition
