GUI element blocks OnMouseOver over not GUI elements

Hey guys, I need a fast response on this problem: I've got a menu set up only with cubes, which will turn gray on mouseover. Since I added a GUI horizontal slider the OnMouseOver effect doesn't work anymore on those cubes. How do I fix this problem?
