Is there a way to loop playback of a particle simulation that isn't designed to loop by constantly emitting particles?
I am creating an explosion particle effect, the entire simulation is barely a second long. I understand that you can enable looping per emitter, but this just causes the emitter to constantly spew out particles and it makes adjusting timing difficult. Is there a way to loop the simulation without having to "stop" and "simulate" the particle effect every time? Sort of how in Maya you can adjust the timeslider to loop playback a certain number of frames?
New or Legacy system? In the new/current system, it's super easy to loop using only bursts. So might want to describe the problem more, and the settings you're using.
