How can I make particle textures rotate with parent?
I have an emitter attached to a rocket, which rotates. The particles move with the parent fine (although it would be nice if I could figure out how to make them trail slightly), however the flame texture assigned to each one never changes direction from the start rotation (it's set to billboard). Is there a way to make them turn with the rocket?
I tried setting the renderer to stretch billboard, which almost does what I want, except now the starting orientation of the texture is stuck rotated 90 to the side, and when the rocket flips, the particles sometimes do too, revealing their flatness, which is distracting.
I looked into scripting for a solution, but I'm still new at this and wasn't able to find anything that would allow me to modify the rotation of the particles.
