Can't add motion to an animator.
I'm trying to drag an animation to the Motion input for the animator I have. It won't let me drag it in. And when I click the circle beside it I can't find any animations in the scene.
Really no one knows whats happening? why am i one of the lucky few to run into rare problems in unity 3d -.- and pretty much every other program i use -.-''''
I seem to have the same problem. I can't add idle motion to Idle state in Unity. :(

May be the animation you're trying to drag is Legacy? or its model (if the animation is imported from a model) has Rig->AnimationMode set to Legacy in its import settings?
Thank you that worked! I know this post is over 2 years old but thought I'd say thanks anyways :)
