How do people make an efficient FPS animation/modelling system?
I am planning on making a simple low poly FPS and I was wondering how to go about making the models for it. So making a full body character and putting a camera where its head would be would not look good so my question is how do people make an FPS game? Do people use two separate models? One for the arms and a full body model both running the same animations? If so how do they do that so you cant see both?
