Make multiple duplicated consecutive objects look like one
Hi,
I have built several "building blocks" for my world-building that allows me to duplicate them and attach them in different ways.
Problem is, Unity is treating them as individual objects from a lightining perspective.
So I take (say) a wall, duplicate it several times and link it together, and instead of looking like a longer wall it looks like a bunch of wall segments. There are shadows on each segment, etc.
Switching the shader to "unlit" solves this problem, but it also removes all lighting. I don't want to do this.
Is there another way to do this?
Incidentally, I'm using LWRP.
Cheers, A
Could you maybe upload a screenshot with what happens? Because I would say that illu$$anonymous$$ating each part individually would be a good thing, but maybe there is something more to it that you didn't describe
