Creating Object Fog?
I'm looking to create a "fog" of sorts, not the kind you'd find in the render settings. But for a specific area, like having the fog fade to blade for this one area of the map. How would I go about doing this?

particle system, if the area is not too big, some smoke with a high degree of transparency maybe?
The area will be roughly 3m x 3m. I used to be a $$anonymous$$ecraft animator, looking through some old stuff I worked on this is roughly what I'm trying to replicate - http://prntscr.com/1p1q2l - How the doorways fade to black.
In $$anonymous$$inecraft, it's not actually volumetric fog (like you're describing), it's just a smoothed lighting algorithm with no ambient light, making anything that isn't lit appear completely black (I used to mod $$anonymous$$inecraft, so I've got a good idea of how it works). What you're looking for is possible, but difficult. You can get a volumetric materials system from the asset store if you have Pro and about $50 spare, or try and make one yourself (which is very difficult). Alternatively, you could get an approximation by using particle systems (though if you want it for a large area, then this is not viable).
The image was of Cinema 4D not $$anonymous$$inecraft, I'm trying to replicate the fog I made in C4D not $$anonymous$$inecrafts fog. Doesn't have to be exactly like it, just something that fades and I can set it where I want in the map.
I see. I did give you some suggestions in the second part of that comment.
Yeah my bad, was just trying to explain in-case there was anything else I could do.
