How to edit terrain features such as grass to be removed and add in real time?

Hi everyone I am brand new to Unity, I have been learning Unity Game Development and C#.

I am creating a god-like game and have been wondering if it is possible allow the player to add grass, dig holes and change the textures on the terrain in real time .
