TrailRenderer not showing when gameObject's center out of view.
When a TrailRenderer's Alignment property is set to Local (so that it stretches with the game object), the camera doesn't render its trail when the center is off screen even though part of the game object is visible. How can I resolve this issue? This issue presumably occurs because the engine thinks the trail is entirely out of view (which it would be if it Alignment had remained View instead of Local), so none it's not rendered.
You can recreate this problem with these setps:
Start with empty scene.
Add a Cube Game Object.
Set scale to 100.
Set position to (0,0,0).
Add TrailRender.
Set TrailRenderer Alignment to Local.
Move Game Object left/right in editor and the TrailRenderer appears in Scene view, in Game view, and in WebGL (browser).
Move Game Object's center well below the camera's view so that its top portion is still partially visible.
Move GameObject left/right again and this time the trail doesn't appear in Game view nor in WebGL (browser).
