Weapon Contact

So, I have come across a problem that i can not figure out how to solve, I want my player to collide with an enemy then the level reloads, then if the player's weapon is touching the enemy, then the enemy is destroyed, I have made scripts for both of these and they work, I can just not figure out how to make it so when the player collides with the enemy it doesn't do both, right now if you collide with the weapon then the enemy is destroyed AND the level reloads, if the player collides with the enemy then the level reloads. I understand that the problem is that the weapon has been parented to the player so that is why it's happening, can any one find a way that I can solve this, if you need me to provide my scripts please ask and I will provide them down below.
